今年、活動30周年を迎えるトランスシーンのレジェンドにして、象徴的存在、 Johan Gielen（ヨハン・ギーレン）がヘッドライナーとして登場する。

ヨハンは1968年生まれの55歳。17歳の時にオランダのクラブでデビュー。 その後来日し、「Velfarre（ヴェルファーレ)で2年間レジデントDJとして活躍。オランダへ帰国は1999年にAirscape名義で「L'Esperanza」。2000年にSvenson &Gielen名義で「The Beauty of Silence」、2001年に「Twisted」、など世界的ヒットを立て続けにリリースした。

 

大の親日家で、Velfarre、ageHaはもちろんのこと、世界中のクラブでなどでプレイ。Tomorrowland, Dance Valley, Trance Energy, Nature One, Sensationをはじめ世界中のフェスティバルも総ナメにしている。

そして2023年4月、これまでの音楽活動の功績が讃えられ、オランダ王室から勲章が与えられた。

This year's headliner is none other than legendary icon of the trance scene Johan Gielen, now on his 30th anniversary world tour!

 

Born in 1968, the now 55-year-old Johan made his Netherlands club debut at the tender age of 17. Eventually, he made his way to Japan, taking on a 2-year residency at "velfarre." After returning home, he released "L'Esperanza" under his Airscape alias, followed by "The Beauty of Silence" in 2000 and "Twisted" in 2001—both times as Svenson & Gielen. All tracks proved massive hits the world over.

 

A huge Japan enthusiast, Johan has, of course, played at both velfarre and ageHa venues, in addition to a multitude of illustrious clubs, events, and festivals across the world. From Tomorrowland to Dance Valley, Trance Energy, Nature One, Sensation, and more—Johan's toured them all. Plus, in April of this year, his musical contributions were officially acknowledged by the Dutch Royal Family, resulting in his appointment as "Ridder (Knight) in the Order of Oranje Nassau."
